JILL, Office Manager

Jill began her career with Skycrest Animal Clinic in 1991 as a Receptionist, later a technician, and for the past 7 years has served as the Office Manager.  Her duties include payroll, inventory control, accounts payable & receivable and most of all, trying to keep everyone happy!  She recently received an advanced diploma in Animal Homeopathy and hopes her newly acquired knowledge will benefit the patients at Skycrest.

Jill has been married to Steven for 27 years and they share their home with 2 dogs and 3 cats.  Jill's favorite hobbies are sewing and gardening.

MARILYN,

Project Manager

Our Project Manager, Marilyn (affectionately referred to as "Monroe"), is the newest addition to the Skycrest Family. She is responsible for planning and implementing various projects that range in complexity from weekday staff lunch to the recent launch of our new online Pet Portals campaign! 

A recent graduate of Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Marilyn enjoys philosophy, politics, business, and all things French. Pictured here with her Chihuahua, Bruce Lee Wonton, she also shares her home with her orange and white cat, Marmelade.  

SHARON, Receptionist

Sharon joined the staff of  Skycrest Animal Clinic in 1998 and enjoys all kinds of animals.  She especially loves the interaction of working with clients and is a compassionate and dedicated care taker.  Sharon is Skycrest's resident photographer and nature lover.  Sharon and her husband, Sandy, have been married since 1974 and they live with their dog, "Snickers". 

PAT, Receptionist

Pat has been with Skycrest Animal Clinic on a part-time basis since 1984.  She helps with telephone reception, scheduling appointments and greeting patients & their owners as they arrive. 

Pat is a full time teacher, and together with her husband, Michael, she has been active in breeding, training and exhibiting pure bred dogs since 1974.  She specializes in Chihuahuas and Japanese Chins

RIN, Receptionist

Rin joined Skycrest Animal Clinic in September of 2004.  After working as an accountant since college, she decided to leave the profession and do something she has always loved -- working with animals. 

Rin's duties include telephone reception, scheduling appointments, and greeting our clients.  In addition to her love for animals, Rin's other loves include Old English Sheepdogs, music, car racing and England's countryside.

BARBARA, Receptionist

Skycrest is Barbara's dream job because she gets to work with great people and play with dogs all day!  Barbara is an award winning freelance feature writer with two degrees in journalism, including a Master's degree in medical and health writing. 

After writing about raising teenagers for 10 years, her three kids grew up and she's now following her true passion of writing about and working with animals.  She became certified in animal massage therapy a few years ago and volunteers at a local shelter with scared, lonely and injured shelter dogs.  Barbara lives with her physician husband, David, and four rescued dogs, "Wrigley", "Mickey" and "Cody" and "Buffy".

MEGAN, Receptionist

Megan has been working as a receptionist since 2002 and started at Skycrest in 2009. She went to college for fashion design but now enjoys sewing as a hobby. She also enjoys cooking and gardening. She has three ferrets: Hesh, Hodgee, and Daphne, and a water snake named Moses.  
 

Our new receptionist Kerri joins our practice with several years of veterinary medical experience under her belt.

Her past experience includes working in emergency vet medicine as both a receptionist and a technician. Kerri is our resident "Chicken Lady", and when she is not at Skycrest she is caring for her flock of chickens, her two cats Shorty and Fannie, and her horse, Victor.
